From the blue table

This is the first picture created on the blue table in Noah's room for a long time. Usually he likes to make them on the dining room coffee table, but tonight he made it quite clear to his mum that they needed to go to his room.

With mum - RESERVED

Today Noah was supervised by his mum. He started with some sweeping strokes with a pink crayon and then used a variety of different colours to do some intricate work. At this point he turned the paper over and drew a few lines on the back before returning to the original side. Finally, he went to town with some big, bold green!

Greenie - RESERVED

This has been Noah's fastest drawing so far. He spent a few seconds with the pink crayon but soon ditched it for light green. Then he grabbed dark green in his other hand and did a two-handed green duet. He got off his chair and handed me the picture. Done!

Wake up and draw - SOLD

Noah had a really big afternoon sleep and had to be woken up for tea. Well, woken up for art, and then tea.
Even though there were 16 crayons in front of him, Noah went for almost the same colour scheme as yesterday's picture. And yes, he's persisted with the white crayon, today it's in the bottom right corner...
THIS HAS BEEN SOLD TO LYNDALL. SHE BOUGHT ALL THE IMAGES DONE ON THE 6TH OF EACH MONTH.

Grandma's inspiration - RESERVED

We had tea at grandma and grandad's house, so the crayons and paper were shipped over to their coffee table and this is the result. Once again, Noah reached for the white crayon first - if you look really closely you might be able to make out some broad white strokes.

This has been reserved for Grandma, seeing she supervised it!

Hard! - RESERVED

Noah slept all afternoon and woke up after tea, so this is his first 'picture after tea'! We had visitors and they watched him draw. At first it was only the black and blue crayons, and really small intricate marks. He then went over to other paper and drew colourful scribbles. After the visitirs went home he went back to this artwork and went to town with orange, green and black. It's the first time he's used the fist grip - usually he holds the crayon like an adult holds a pen.

Blue > Yellow - RESERVED

No yellow crayons today. The first colour Noah picked up was white. Yes, we know white isn't a colour, but why do they make white crayons anyway? Fortunately he had a hankering for some darker hues and we have this wonderful creation as a result.

It was all yellow - SOLD

Noah's first picture of the year is heavily dominated by yellow. He likes to tip the Eels and Hull City, so we think he's got a bit of a preference for yellows and oranges at the moment.
The first bit he did was the intricate black work in the bottom righthand corner. The last flourish was the purple sideways 'M'.
This picture was sold to his mum and dad for $1.
